It isnt normal for us to perform body work, however we dont expect miracles from plastidip as it doesn't fill in severe damage as what was found on the surfaces of this bike. We disassembled all the red plastics, sanded and prepped what was neccessary to give the perfect finish for our plastidipping. The parts, once dried and cured, were reassembled and after 4 days, washed and our spray wax applied. There isnt any sign of this bike having ever been dropped or damaged. It turned out fantastic. Satin black was requested, and satin black was obviously the perfect choice. Now protected from chips, flaking minor scratching, its ready for the road again. And the color can be changed again, right over the top of this new coat, should a change be requested. Adding new coats to this coating is adding even more protection, not to mention, with a minimal of 4 coats, any coats on top of this will only add more protection and because there is now a base coat, the costs and the amount of materials needed to change the color again will be lower. Only a couple coats would be needed just to change the color saving money and providing options. check it out, and let us help you with your next color change or needed protection to whatever surface you may want.
